The City of Commerce has implemented certain procedures to help ensure the safety of our citizens and staff as we navigate through the Covid-19 outbreak. We are working with surrounding jurisdictions and coordinating our responses to minimize the impact on our community. Currently we do have some services that we are postponing. These services are:

Recreation

                - All recreation activities (practices, games, and recreation sponsored community activities) are postponed through April 3rd.

                - Our Opening Day Ceremonies are postponed. New dates are yet to be determined

                - Recreation facilities, except for passive parks and early voting, are closed through the same time period.

Library

                - All library program activities are being postponed through March 29th.

                - The Library will remain open and hold normal hours for now.

The City will reevaluate the situation over the next couple of weeks to determine if we need to extend any closures. We are also looking at scenarios where we have to expand or escalate current precautions due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak. We do want to encourage people to use our online services for information and payments.

We also encourage all customers to use the drop box if they want to avoid having to get out of their vehicle at City Hall.  Payments can be made online through our website.  If you have questions, please call 706.335.3164 option 2
